TOBY - URGENT
CAVALIER KING CHARLES SPANIEL/PAPILLON MIX
ADULT- BORN AROUND 2012

Hi! I'm Toby, I'm about 2 years old. They don't know what mix I am, but I think I'm probably a cavalier king charles spaniel mix, maybe with papillon - I'm about 13 lbs. Whatever mix I am I know I'm super cute, and I will win you over in no time! I'm understandably a little nervous around new people, but I warm up pretty quick and I'm super sweet. I would do best in a home without kids, I'd prefer a quiet home where I can relax and play. I'm house trained and crate trained, my foster mom is working on teaching me some basic commands too. I am not a big fan of other dogs or cats, so I'd like to be an only pup in my forever home. If you can open up your home to me I promise to make it worth your while for the rest of my life!

DAVEY JONES
SHIH TZU
YOUNG - BORN AROUND FEBRUARY, 2014

Hi! I'm Davey Jones, and I'm an adorable little guy - nothing like may namesake! I had a bad accident and I lost my eye, but don't worry, it doesn't slow me down at all. I can be a little shy meeting people, but I warm up quickly. I'm super adorable and I'm only 10-11 months old, so I would be the perfect guy for you. I'm about 15 lbs and I'm done growing - wouldn't you love a little lap dog?

MR. WHITE
AMERICAN STAFFORDSHIRE TERRIER MIX
ADULT - born in 2009

Hello there, I'm Mr. White (an interesting choice of names, I know, since I actually have very pretty brown patches). I originally came into rescue with another rescue group because my owner went to jail and I was left behind and had no where to live. I was a young puppy and I didn't understand what had happened to me. The woman who saved me had a bunch of other dogs and she couldn't care for me so she found a rescue group to take me and they put me in a great foster home that loved me very much. Unfortunately, they placed me in a home in the city and it was way too scary and overwhelming for me and I just couldn't do it. I really am a country boy at heart, I love to go out and run around and play and bask in the sun (don't worry, I know to be carerful and put sun screen on my nose). I am a super sweet, super smart dog and I would really love to go to a home that wanted to take me out running or play ball with me or wrestle with me and chase me around the yard. My foster mom says thjat I am a lot of fun to work with and that I am beautiful when I run (sleek and graceful). I am crate and house trained and I know basic commands. I am a total smoosh face love bundle and would really like to be a lap dog, I don't understand I am too big for that. Don't you think I could be a good match for you?

CHLOE
ENLGISH BULLDOG
ADULT- BORN AROUND 2008

Chloe is a courtesy posting and has not been evaluated by Cares4pets, but please contact us for more information about how to adopt. Do you enjoy quiet evenings on the couch? Short walks? Rolling in the grass? Laughing at pure silliness? If you have no other pets, Chloe may be the girl for you. She's about 6 years old and she's a big bulldog at about 90lbs. She enjoys going for walks as long as you keep it short, you know these Bully girls don't like to walk too much....they have naps to take. She enjoys car rides and hanging out with her humans. She is a laid back girl, but does enjoy chasing her ball. Chloe is house trained and crate trained. Every time she is outside, she loves to roll in the grass. Chloe is a silly and fabulous girl just waiting for her family to find her. Her foster mom adores her and thinks she is a wonderful Bully girl. Chloe is a typical, stubborn English Bulldog with a big personality. Please read about her breed to understand Chloe and her needs. Thank you for considering Chloe - she hopes to find her forever family soon!

SPROCKET
POODLE MIX
ADULT - born around 2012

Hi! I am Sprocket and I am just looking for someone to share all my love with. My foster parents don’t know much about my history. I was found as a stray and spent 2 weeks at ACCT which was really scary for me. I was pretty traumatized when I got out of there, but when I realized that my foster home was a safe place, I really opened up. I'm about 2 years old and 20-25lbs. They don't know what mix I am, but they think I'm a terrier mixed with poodle, you know - one of those designer dogs? In general, I am pretty low energy and don’t mind just lying around the house all day. I will follow you around from room to room and curl up wherever you are. I really like going for walks though and if you pick up the leash I will run to the door and sit patiently until we go outside. On walks, I love getting pet by strangers and really like kids, but other dogs (especially if they are bigger than me) are a little overwhelming. My foster parents think I was pad trained in my old home (which is great if you live in an apt!). I don’t like going to the bathroom in front of people, but I will go on the pads while you are out or at work. My foster parents let me roam free while they are out and I am pretty good about not getting into things. However, plastic bags are my arch nemesis and I will destroy them if they are left out. When you come home from work or running errands it is the most exciting part of my day and I will shower you with love and licks. Will you let me share my love with you?
